Older Adults:
Mankan-Go Care carers provides home care support to older adults in the comfort of your own home that promotes you to continue living independently, as far as possible. For example, getting up, personal care, meal preparation, medication support or even going out for appointments, social or recreational purposes. Also, on discharge from hospital or you are already in your home needing a little help or long term support can assist with aerating your home ready for you and ensuring that it is habitable and warm.
Personal Care
Mankan-Go carers support clients with personal care and hygiene such as washing and shaving. Also, we provide support with medication management such prompting, administration and accompanying or attending appointments for social care and health e.g. (hospital or dental).
Companionship/sitting service/Live-in care
Caring role is prerequisite, and when it becomes too much has an effect on the carer and family. Therefore, our carers can provide relief within your own home with multi-dimensional benefits for all family members with the view to promote well-being and independence. Alternatively, giving a break to the carer, which in turn reduces carer stress and providing opportunity for the cared for. Such as, having someone to talk too, which creates an opportunity to have chats whilst reminiscing about the past, watching favourite films or doing quiz. As well as having a confidant.
Mankan-Go carers provides 24 hour live-in support in for you and your family in your own home. Our carers have also received extensive specialist trainings.
Palliative Care
The ManKan-Go Care team serve to provide person-centered, family orientated support to clients near end of life in their own homes. Our carers are focused on delivering the highest quality of tailored care in a coordinated way and support throughout the process which is carefully managed and with compassionate. With the view, to ease the pressure on loved ones and we also take into consideration the client’s unique spiritual needs, wishes, preferences and their cultural context as well as, those closest to them.
Complex Care
We support adults with mental health, dementia, learning disabilities, Sensory problems and Autistic people.
Nutrition needs
We offer assistance with meal preparation and support with food shopping.
Medication
Our carers provide the following services, personal care/hygiene, prompt and administer medication.
Domestic services:
We offer tailored services to your individual needs like cleaning; laundry, ironing, shopping and collecting pension. Also, assist with correspondence and paying bills at the Post office.
